Will Fish for Fun!
Will Fish for Fun is this Saturday, September 11th at the Burlington Waterfront.Bring your kids, ages 2 to 14, for a day of fishing. Registration forms are available at  www.willfishforfun.com.
Learn how to fish (some poles available for FREE!), weigh-in your fish for prizes (largest fish, smallest fish, and more). Biggest prize includes a lifetime fishing license. Lunch is available. See you there!

The 2010 Grants for Success Awards to area non-profit organizations were presented to recipients at an Award Ceremony on January 21.
Twenty Vermont non-profit organizations have been selected to receive signs and graphic materials at little or no cost to them during the coming year. The materials will help these charitable and public service groups to gain greater visibility, promote their activities, and better serve their constituencies.
The twenty organizations receiving awards for 2010 are: American Red Cross, Bristol Family Center, Committee on Temporary Shelter, Jericho-Underhill Land Trust, Meals on Wheels of Lamoille County, Michaud Manor, Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Gardening Association, Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, Town of Jay Focus Group, Travis Roy Foundation, United Way, Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger, Vermont Works for Women, Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, Williston Community Food Shelf, and Women’s Rape Crisis Center.
