Old Signs Become New Again: Refurbish Special for Month of May

The Good Lutheran Church has a lovely and large freestanding sign at their Jericho, Vermont location. The problem has always been that the side facing the western exposure gets a lot of sunlight, and consequently, a lot Good Shepherd Church Before of damage from the sunlight. They considered replacing the sign, but we suggested a cost-saving plan of refurbishiGood Shephers Afterng the sign instead. We felt that the sign was well constructed despite its appearance.

Church members sanded and painted the edge of the wooden sign panels. They then brought the sign panel to us and we removed the logo and painted it. We produced the same layout, producing it as a large vinyl graphic, which was then applied to a durable, rigid substrate. The logo was screw-mounted to each side and looks great as a dimensional piece. We applied the rigid substrate panel, complete with vinyl graphics and the dimensional logo, to each side.

Kinsington Court’s sign, on the other hand, was made by us more than ten years ago. It withstood the test of time, bKinsington Court Beforeut now needed some refurbishing. See how the paint has chalked, and the paint pigment lost?

We repaired damage, removed dirt and grime (including some Kinsington Court Aftermushrooms!), primed it, and repainted the sign panel its original color. While it doesn't look brand spanking new, it looks very clean and attractive.

We re-do vehicles, too! Tom Moore has a successful residential building anTom Moore Builder Afterd remodeling business. He asked us to leTom Moore Builders Beforetter his vehicle several years ago with forest green cut vinyl. It was a great advertising tool--the lettering was large enough to be considered a billboard (by Vermont standards).

When he rebranded his company's image, he asked us to remove the graphics and apply a partial wrap. His full color vehicle graphics now communicate his image as a quality builder.

Step & Repeat Banner Special

Offer Good through October 31, 2012!

What's a Step & Repeat banner, anyway? It's a banner that stands behind people whose photos are being taken--they are printed with a logo or logo and text that identifies an organization or the event at which the banner is being used.

Familiar with Hollywood's red carpet? Celebrities are often photographed standing in front of a step and repeat banner. The ones in Hollywood are huge--several feet high and wide so that multiple people can stand in front and the banner looks like a wall behind them.

You don't need to purchase a 20' wide banner, but select a size that will allow some versatility. We suggest an 8' or 10' wide x 8' high size.

How do they stand up? Step and repeat banners can have grommets on the top that are fastened to the wall or ceiling, but the easiest way to travel and install this type of banner is to purchase a frame to go behind it or purchase an extra-wide retractable banner stand like those on this page.

UVM Foundation Step & Repeat Retractable Banner StandTo your left is a large retractable banner stand, measuring 60"w x 92"h. It has the logo repeated in a pleasing manner across the width and large enough to be readable in close-up photographs. It isn't a huge step and repeat, but it works as an attractive backdrop in a booth at a trade show event.

The Step & Repeat in the photo above (behind the podium) is, in essence, a trade show display with the graphics printed onto a fabric that stretches across the frame so that it's flat and photographs well. It is wide enough that two to three people can stand in front and be photographed.

Banners and banner stands are easily customized for whatever purpose you need them for.
